Muchos ya han tropezado por las calles del casco histórico de La Habana con una nueva estatua viviente, El Caballero de París, basado en el legendario personaje de las calles habaneras e interpretado por Andrés Pérez, un adicto y fiel ciclonero. El diseño de maquillaje y vestuario del mítico personaje ha sido realizado por Leo D´Lázaro e inmortalizado en uno de los murales de la calle Villegas por Osaín Chala a petición de D´Lázaro. 

Por otra parte nuestra Galería-Estudio experimenta por estos días, en su salón principal: El grito del silencio,  un proceso de rediseño; las obras han sido reposicionadas, algunas de ellas cuelgan en lo alto de las paredes y otros penden del techo cual enigmáticos símbolos de una cultura atemporal. Y el pasado viernes quince de junio fue la fiesta de despedida y cumpleaños de Desiderio, artista plástico italiano que participó con su obra “The Win on the Sky” en la recién concluida IX Bienal de La Habana. 

Este amigo de El Ojo del Ciclón aderezó la noche con varios de sus videoarte que proyectó tanto en el interior como el exterior del edificio al tiempo que se desempeñaba como DJ, hobby que ya había tenido oportunidad de poner a prueba en nuestra capital. Finalmente, como anunciamos en este Boletín, el próximo sábado 24 de junio y siendo parte del 2do Encuentro de Meditación. Confluencia de saberes, realizaremos una meditación activa con moldeado de barro en dos tiempos, con el fin de experimentar diversas sensaciones en el proceso de creación artística.

New creations and activities

Many who have strolled by the streets of the historical zone of Old Havana have met a new living statue, The Gentleman from Paris, based on the legendary character of Havana streets and interpreted by Andrés Pérez, an addict and faithful cy-cloneer. The design of make-up and this mythical character's wardrobe has been carried out by Leo D´Lázaro and immortalized in one of the murals of Villegas street by Osaín Chala at the request of D´Lázaro. 

On the other hand, our Gallery-study experiences these days, in its main living room: The scream of the silence, a process of redesign; the works have been relocated, some of them hang in the high of the walls and others loll of the roof which enigmatic symbols of a culture atemporal. And last Friday June fifteen were the farewell party and birthday of Desiderio, Italian visual artist that it participated with their work The Win on the Sky in the recently concluded 11th Havana Biennial; this friend of The Eye of the Cyclone, decorated the night with se-veral of his projected Video Art in the interior as in the exterior of the building at the time that acted as DJ, hobby that he had already had the chance to put on approval in our capital. Finally, as we announced in this Bulletin, next Saturday June 23rd and as part of the 2nd Encounter of Meditation, we will carry out an active meditation with molding on clay in two times, with the purpose of experiencing diverse sensations in the process of artistic creation.
